About me

Hi! My name is Inigo Montoya Julio, and I'm the person behind everything you can read on this website. From Málaga (although I don't really have the looks or the accent), currently living in that little paradise called Mallorca. Born in the late 70s (1977, to be precise), I'm a fan of movies and series (always with a bag of sunflower seeds), a proud dad with an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for sports, and overall, a restless soul!

Since I was a kid, I wanted to be (in this exact order) a firefighter, a doctor, and most of all, a pilot. In the end, I decided to explore another of my passions (science and technology), and I became an IT professional (with a few ventures into graphics & web design and electronics). I'm not a modern-day guru, but I think I'm reasonably good with technology, and thanks to it, I can help hundreds of people with the software I create. I consider myself quite active whenever time allows: I practice archery and swimming, go to the gym (no, I'm not "ripped"... I exercise a lot but without overdoing), and I'm trying to get into other activities like canyoning, boxing, and climbing. And when I'm not pushing my sweat glands or neurons with design, studying, or programming, I lead a simple yet fulfilling family life... because not everything is about mental (or physical) workouts. You also need to relax from time to time (although, to be honest, I can't last five minutes sitting on the couch) :P

I'm not perfect (let's be honest) or politically correct. I don't know everything, and I'm not always right, but I'm always willing to listen and, if necessary, to adjust. Always with respect, never with offense (as much as this is possible). These are my experiences and my opinions. Don't worry... I don't think anything I say will bother you, but this is what I can offer... without additives or any kind of filters ;)
